# Conversion of formatted content to a label

The context menu of the Rich Text placed on the request that contains a correctly mapped external data source includes the option **Convert to label**. When clicked, the Rich Text will be converted into a Label. Component properties that also apply to the Label will be copied. Individual translations of the rich text will be saved under the newly created translation key for the Label text.
